Unless otherwise requested by the artist performing, there are currently no specific requirements related to COVID-19. If an artist requests any specific restrictions, we will notify purchasers and fans ahead of time through email, our social media pages, and website.
While we do recommend using a ride share service, there are various parking options around the venue, however parking is limited. Options include a pay to park parking garage across from the venue and a pay to park lot behind the venue both located on Louise Avenue. There are also metered and unmetered parking spots available on Elliston Pl and Louise Avenue as well as other surrounding side streets.

How nice of you to ask…you’re so sweet. Recording policies are at the band’s discretion and change from night-to-night. Only those with approved photo and video passes can bring professional equipment (cameras with detachable lenses) to a show. We utilize a House Photography Program where local photographers can choose the shows they want to shoot (on a first come, first serve basis), bring a friend along with them to the show and also receive photo credit when their photos are used.

The Hampton Inn, Guesthouse Inn & Suites, Lowes Vanderbilt, and Hutton Hotel are all close by. We do not offer any partnered rates.
Exit/In is a standing room only venue. However, there are a limited number of seats available on a first come first serve basis. If you are in need of any ADA accommodations, please contact us at info@exitin.com prior to the show.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Backpacks of any kind
- Weapons of any kind
- Illegal Drugs
- Hula Hoops
- Glow Sticks
- Outside Food & Beverage
Grab a beer at Corner Bar, coffee at Cafe Coco, bubble tea at Sweet Dots, sushi at Samurai or a burger at Elliston Place Soda shop!
We do our best to retain any items left behind for a reasonable period of time. If you believe you have left an item with us, please email info@exitin.com.
There is no smoking permitted inside Exit/In (including e-cigarettes and vapes). We do have a large outdoor smoking are easily accessible at the left side of the room.
Yes, it’s the law! For all 18+ shows or if you are over 21 years of age for All Ages Shows, you must have a valid photo ID issued by either the state or federal government. Military ID, passports, driver licenses, are all examples of proper ID. Birth certificates, and student IDs are examples of improper ID and will not be accepted. Please also note that if your ID is broken or appears tampered with in any way, you may not be allowed to enter. Paper ID’s will only be accepted if issued by the state of Tennessee. Tennessee paper IDs will only be accepted for 20 days after the date of issuance. Paper IDs from other states and/or entities will not be accepted.
We do not allow re-entry.

Tickets can be purchased online through our ticketing partner, Ticketweb, or at the box office when doors open for the show. Please visit our calendar page to purchase online tickets. Box Office business hours are coming soon.
We’re located in the heart of the Historic Rock Block at 2208 Elliston Place, Nashville TN 37203. Exit/in has operated in this location, 2 blocks off West End Avenue & across from Vanderbilt University, since opening in 1971.
In most cases when a show is sold out, there will be no tickets available at the door. If tickets do become available, we will make a post on our socials.
Unfortunately, unless a ticket is sold directly through our ticketing company, Ticketweb, we cannot guarantee the validity of the ticket and if said ticket will provide entry.
We do not offer refunds unless a show has been canceled or rescheduled.
All tabs left open at the bar will automatically be given a 20% gratuity.
We do not allow guests under 18 inside the venue for shows designated 18+. Sorry!
Cash will no longer be accepted at our bar or box office, so be sure to bring a debit or credit card to make purchases. You can also use our cash-to-card exchange at the box office to get a prepaid card for purchases.
PS – Cash tips at the bar are always appreciated! Also, for some shows, cash may be used to purchase artist merchandise.
